What does it really take to experience network marketing success? There are a lot discussion going on nowadays on how you are supposed to build your network marketing business. Some people will swear by the old proven ways that have been around forever, while people on the other end of the spectrum are telling you that you have to build completely online. Who should you believe? Whose advice should you follow?
Well, my experience is that people are different and as long as you find a method that fits and resonates with you, you can be successful with it. One method might work for me, while it might not be a fit for you. The beauty of this industry is that you can choose for yourself what you want to do, and as long as you stick to it and follow-through, you can be successful with any method out there. There is no right or wrong here.
For you to accomplish what you want and experience network marketing success there are some common foundational basics that must be in place for you to succeed, though.
1. You Must Be a Leader
Prospects are searching for that one person that has the knowledge and the skills to take them by the hand and lead them to wherever they want to go in their life. They're searching for a mentor. The most important thing for experiencing success in your business is, believe it or not, not your business opportunity itself. Become that person people are looking to team up with, show the world that you are that person through the creation of valuable content and you will be successful in any company that exists on the planet. Doing it this way will make a lot of potential prospects follow you and listen to what you have to say, and you will convert more people into whatever business opportunity you are working with.
2. The Right System
If you've been into this industry for a while, you've undoubtly heard about how you must have a duplicatable system in order to be successful. To some extent this is true, but when we're talking about real duplication that is actually something that never really happens. The people that are in fact successful in this industry is never someone who is just following the "duplicable system" - they go out of their ways in educating themselves and become that leader others are looking for , and they don't attain this success by following a proven, set path, but such path doesn't exist. They find out what works for them and follow their own path as though their lives depended on it.
Still, I'm not saying that you don't need a system in place at all. You absolutely must have some sort of system in order to have network marketing success, and especially if you are turning your attention towards the Internet world you will need the right marketing system set-up for your business. This is an automated system that you set-up so you are able to leverage yourself in the best way possible. This is a system that must sift and sort through all of your leads automatically, and weave out the tire-kickers and dead-beats for you. One of the most important pieces to this system is that is must position you as someone your prospects would want to work with, and it cannot just promote your main opportunity on the first page. Your prospects need to get to know who you are first! Furthermore, the right system should present your primary opportunity for you on the backend, so that you can virtually sign-up distributors on autopilot, once they go through your marketing funnel, see that you are the leader they want to work with, and choose to sign up under you.
These are actually the two main factors that determines whether or not you are going to experience any network marketing success. You need to become that leader by educating yourself and enabling you to have more value to share with the market place, and you need a great marketing system in place to help you leverage those efforts.
